Vocalis is an a cappella vocal ensemble for young people aged 16 - 25.
Formed in 2024, Vocalis aims to provide young people with a safe and inclusive space in which to learn, sing and perform together. Vocalis also promotes social connection and wellbeing.
Vocalis is directed by Aaron Powell, who is also the musical director of acclaimed ensemble ThylaSing and the Young Voices of Hobart.
Vocalis is affiliated with the Tasmanian University Student Association (TUSA) and Barbershop Harmony Australia (BHA).
Vocalis is open to anyone with no audition required.
